Anusara Yoga Workshop, Teacher’s Immersion II and Retreat

Yoga @ 42 is pleased to host Kris Nelson, a Los Angeles based certified Anusara Yoga and Tantric Meditation teacher.  Kris is offering a weekend workshop and a weeklong teacher’s immersion.  Workshop sessions can be attended individually.  Attendance of the entire workshop, or a prior workshop with a certified Anusara Teacher, is a prerequisite for attending the teacher’s immersion.  It is recommend that you attend an Immersion I before attending Immersion II, but is not necessary.

In the Tantric vision of the human experience, enlightenment is the embodiment and realization of always, already present awareness and bliss.  In this weekend adventure of yoga and meditation, we will open to the freedom already established in our experience.  This workshop  will be fun, challenging, and insightful.

Full Workshop: $120 paid before July 15, 2008 (after July 15 $135)

Sessions can be attended individually or all together.  This workshop, or a previous workshop with a Certified Anusara Teacher is a prerequisite for the Teacher’s Immersion II.

: teacher’s immersion II :
August 4 - 8

Anusara Yoga teachers are some of the most well trained yoga teachers in the world.  Mastery in practice leads to mastery in teaching.  Teacher Training begins with a series of teacher’s immersions.  This is the second of the series of Anusara Immersion and Teacher Training Program at Yoga @ 42 Degrees.

Though it is not necessary to complete an Immersion Level I to attend, Immersion II builds on the teaching and learning in Level I.  In this Immersion, we will dive more deeply into the Universal Principles of Alignment, Anusara’s Tantric Vision of Intrinsic Goodness, and the significant teachings of the Yoga Sutras.

The Teacher’s Immersion is open to everyone interested in deepening their practice and life.  The Teacher’s Immersion is a prerequisite for further and upcoming Anusara Teacher Training at Yoga @ 42.  Fee includes Anusara Teacher Training Manual (if one is not already owned) and a translation of the Yoga Sutras.

Time: Monday – Friday 9 – 12 & 1 – 4 | Cost: $525 (after July 15 cost $540)

: Overnight 1000 Island Retreat :
August 8 – 9

Please join us for the concluding celebration at the Tiger Islands Village and Eco Resort (check out www.pulaumacan.com).  We will arrive Friday evening, enjoy a beautiful sunset meditation, break bread, eat and drink.  After a restful night sleep in the quiet and stillness of the islands, we will enjoy breakfast, followed by three hours of yoga.  We’ll lunch, and enjoy the afternoon in the water and on the sun.  The cost includes yoga.  Lodging, meals, transportation, and activities will be extra.
