Fl of Saberro House. We are a full-service yoga studio with
many amenities, with towels and mats free of charge.We have
showers and locker rooms with full range of toiletries. On the premise, we also have retail shop, food and beverages. Bikram�s Yoga is not just an exercise: it increases strength, willpower, determination, flexibility, balance, faith, concentration, and patience �all in a 90 minute class. You use your strength and balance at the same time you�re stretching your muscles and increasing your flexibility. To get the same workout in a gym you would have to lift weights for 90 minutes, stretch for 90 minutes, and then practice your balance for 90 minutes and you would still not get the same benefits provided by this posture series. Bikram's yoga is practiced in a hot room, heated just above body temperature so that you naturally sweat and release toxins, through the largest organ of elimination � your skin! All of our instructors are Bikram Certified, personally trained by the master himself. The series is very suited to the beginner. All the postures are quite simple to execute, with the class being led by the instructor guiding you through the postures with a very specific dialogue. Don't be fooled though. Even though the series is suitable for beginners it is very dynamic and demanding system of exercise. |
DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES:
Bikram Hot Yoga: (The most popular yoga style in the world!) 90 minutes
Bikram Method HOT YOGA is a class designed for all levels. It is a challenging and exhilarating series of 26 postures practiced in a heated room, which helps to warm the body, allowing you to work deep into your muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It stimulates the organs, glands, and nervous system in a profoundly beneficial manner. The class moves slowly and each posture is practiced twice so that you have time to learn it properly. Bikram Hot Yoga cleanses the body inside and out and makes you look and feel great! Practice in a heated room from 38-42° C.Please note that beginners are welcome to this class without any prerequisites.
Ashtanga Yoga: 90 minutes
An ancient and unique system composed of a precisely designed sequence of postures synchronized with smooth, deep breathing (Ujjayi), gaze (dristi), and energy locks (bandhas). This powerful and rigorous practice purifies and realigns the body, cultivating a feeling of deep inner peace. Taught in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, of Mysore, South India. Ashtanga Yoga is a set series of postures that are woven together using flowing movements to create one sequence. This sequencing of yoga postures is called vinyasa. Practice in room temperature.
Power Yoga: (An athletic, flowing style of yoga!) 90 minutes
A powerful class focusing on movement with breath, using deep breathing techniques and linking postures together to create dynamic sequences. This class provides the student with an energizing and detoxifying practice. Room maintained at 33-35° C just hot enough to warm up muscles. Please note that some kind of Yoga experience is required. Not for beginners.
Kiddy Yoga: (age group 4-9 years old) 40-50 minutes
This class is a time to align the young and creative minds of our kids with some fun and powerful yogic techniques to focus the mind and build coordination. Basic poses are learned in a very playful environment to maintain our natural flexibility and to learn how to enjoy it! By reservation only
Prenatal Yoga (mom to be) 60 minutes
Classes are specially modified for women in any stage of pregnancy. The exercises are safe and gentle. Classes are small to allow maximum individual attention. Pregnant woman can gain even additional benefits from practicing yoga: relief from back pain and nausea, and increased stamina. The breathing meditations practiced in a yoga class may come in handy during labor!
